The VMCC Bamburgh Run
June 8, 2025
The Bamburgh Run – not to be confused with the Bambury Run!
The Bamburgh Run is an event held annually for motorcycles with flat tanks and also for post-1930 motorcycles with girder forks. The routes consists of a road run of either sixty or eighty miles around north Northumberland, England and sometimes pop over the border into southern Scotland. It was instigated in 2015 by Mike, a member of both the VMCC Reivers Section and the Marston Sunbeam Club and Register, to promote the use of old motorcycles in the beautiful Northumberland countryside.Â
In 2024, the run will start and end at Etal Village where there will be a sort of village fair type of event, and dress up the hall with bunting and the gold and red Northumbrian flag. Â
