The Classic Motorcycle Mechanics Show

The Stafford International Classic MotorCycle Show is one of the largest and most prestigious classic motorcycle events in the UK, held twice a year (in April and October) at the Staffordshire County Showground. The shows are recognised as a cornerstone of the vintage motorcycling calendar, and attracts enthusiasts, collectors, and traders from around the world. The event is organized by Mortons Media Group, the publisher of The Classic MotorCycle magazine.
The Stafford Show includes:
– Motorcycle displays from all eras. Exhibitors include private owners, motorcycle clubs, and renowned collectors. Concours competitions highlight the best restorations and rarest machines, with awards for categories like “Best in Show.”
– Trade and auto-jumble stalls. There are hundreds of stalls which offer a wide range of products, from spare parts and tools to memorabilia, books, and apparel. Oh and of course the odd motorcycle!
– Club Stands. Numerous classic motorcycle clubs host stands to showcase their members’ bikes, promote their activities, and celebrate specific brands or eras.
– Auction. Bonhams are usually at Stafford, where there are motorcycles, parts, and memorabilia up for grabs.
– Entertainment. There are demonstrations and live-action displays, including trials riding, stunt shows, and parade laps, create an engaging experience for visitors. There are also informative workshops and talks about restoration techniques, bike maintenance, and motorcycling history are also common.
